Music: Sun Apr 18

With the themes of Imani Perry's Breathe in mind, I have chosen solo piano works associated with the African Diaspora or with composers from colonialized nations. In a cameo appearance, young CUUC member Wesley Miller provides our Opening Music, and a stirring number from the Broadway production of Caroline, or Change serves as our Interlude. Read on for programming details and stay tuned for spoken introductions.
