These are our times.
What a difference five weeks makes. New Cases of, and deaths from, Covid-19 have shot up -- around the world, in the US, and in our Tri-State (NY, NJ, and CT). Take a look at the numbers below, comparing the week just ended with five weeks before.
Last week I wrote that, "If the growth rate of the last five weeks continues for one more week, then next week I'll be writing that we're seeing a 7-day average of about 160,000 new cases a day." In fact, the number of new cases in the US now averages over 165,000 per day over the last week.

In all, 1.36 million people have died from Covid-19 -- 258,000 of them in the US.
