Dessert Drive
This Saturday, October 24th
The K-4th grade class has been learning about hunger and food insecurity. Families are invited to participate in the class's first action by providing small ziplock bags of cookies, bars, candies or any bagged treat for CUUC's HOPE Kitchen meals. You can drop off your treats this Saturday when you are at CUUC for the Drive-Through "Fun"-Raiser. Watch for a class leader collecting your treat donations as you drive through the lower parking lot. Click HERE for more information.

Halloween Parade
We are excited to see your costumes! Our beloved annual Halloween parade will be virtual this year. Send pictures in costume to Tracy byThursday 10/29to be included in the Sunday 11/1 virtual parade. Pictures in a vertical (up and down) orientation preferred over horizontal (sideways), if possible. Send pictures to cuucwpTracy@gmail.com.
Light or Extinguish the Worship Chalice
We would love to see your family! We invite you to record a chalice lighting or extinguishing video for Sunday worship. We will provide the script. You'll send a video by the Thursday preceding your Sunday so it can be added to the worship slide deck. You can record using your own device or meet Tracy on Zoom and she can record you. Send Tracy dates in November and December when you are available to submit recordings by Thursday to be used in worship the following Sunday (cuucwptracy@gmail.com).

Anti-Racism Resources for Children
This is a good time to be having conversations with children about values and fairness. It is not enough for us to raise children that are not racist; we strive to raise children that are anti-racist. They will encounter mean and hateful messages in the media, school playgrounds, and other places. At young ages, you can affirm values grounded in justice, diversity, and inclusion.
