The evolution of simplicity to complexity is embodied in the musical theme and variations. Two examples of this genre are included in the morning’s Prelude and Offertory. In addition, the CUUC Choir is on hand with a spiritually contemplative selection by the Medieval abbess Hildegard von Bingen as well as the perennially popular “What a Wonderful World”.
