Music For All Ages will start promptly at 10 a.m. Children may come right up to the piano when they enter

Daurov present "Bows n' Strings: The Sound of the Cello" about the cello, its means
of producing sound, its unique characteristics, and some of its
repertoire.
Then the Wonder Box Story on the first Sunday in October touches upon fall and the theme of the month, "death," in the sense of the cycle of life in nature. You might recognize this story that Perry and Meredith perform as a mini-skit. Children and youth will process to their classes after the story.

This Sunday, the Youth Group is headed out for apple picking at Harvest Moon Orchards in North Salem (exit 8 off I-684 north). The group will be leaving CUC promptly at 10 a.m. and returning by 1 p.m. Youth attending should bring $10-$15 to cover the cost of apples and anything they might want to purchase from the farm shop.
